FAQs

What time should we arrive?

Gates open at 7:00am and the first walk batch sets off at 7:30am, with walking in batches until 11am. The festival then runs until 4pm, so arrive, register and set off whenever you are ready.

What does my ticket include?

One ticket covers the 2.5 km walk and the whole day of entertainment: the Clamber Club zone, craft stations, live music, the market and everything else on the lawns. Pram & Pusher is R400, each additional adult is R220, each additional child is R80, and under-6s come along free.

Is it only a walk?

No. The 2.5 km walk opens the morning, then it becomes a full-day family festival with a Clamber Club play zone, craft stations, food trucks, a gin bar and craft beer for the grown-ups, live music and a handcrafted market.

Do I need to be fit?

Not at all. It is a walk first, at your own pace, on a flat and pram-friendly route. Push one loop or three; it is entirely up to your family.

How far is the walk?

One easy 2.5 km loop of Waterfall City Park. If you want more, you can walk 2 or 3 loops (5 km or 7.5 km), but the single loop is the event.

Can I bring the grandparents?

Please do. Pramathon is built for the whole family. Last time, 80% of everyone there joined the walk: grannies, grandpas, moms, dads and older kids.

Where do I buy tickets?

Ticket sales open once we confirm the 2027 date, so there is nothing to book just yet. Look out for the announcement. If you would like a Brand Partner or Stall Holder spot, head to the Vendors page.
